Yes. When open window detection is active, the radiator will switch to anti-freeze mode (7 °C) if it senses a sudden drop in temperature. When a rise in temperature is detected, the radiator will return to its previous state.
There is no unique symbol that displays while open window detection is active, however the set point temperature will drop to 7 °C while the current mode symbol remains. For example, if the unit shows 7 °C and the sun icon, unless you set comfort to 7 °C, that means open window detection is active.
Open window detection is activated by default. It can be disabled or enabled in the settings menu – see attached instructions for more information.
