The RC Wave+ app communicates with the radiator via Bluetooth which means you have to make sure you are close enough to the radiator – within a few feet – to maintain a connection.
Bluetooth apps work more like a remote control. There is no live connection between the radiator and the app: changes to settings have to be sent to the device. This is achieved by connecting to the radiator and tapping the “download to device” icon on the app. You will lose the connection with the radiator if you leave its proximity – going into the garden for example. If you connect to another device, or if it has been a long time since you sent settings, it may also disconnect. It’s completely normal to need to re-establish connection when you make a change to settings.
Ensure the BT button has been pressed, that Bluetooth is active on the smartphone and the correct app has been installed – the Haverland BT app. If the app is showing as connected, but settings are not transmitting, press the “break connection” key and set up the connection again. You can only connect and send settings to one radiator at a time.
