Programming can be done via the app or automatically via self-programming.
To put the radiator in self-programming mode, press the UP and DOWN arrows simultaneously. Move through the modes until the top red LED on the right is flashing. This self-programming mode will learn your schedule using the motion sensor to work out when you are present, based on one of two algorithm options: Economic profile or Comfort Profile.
How to select a profile:
1. Press the standby key to turn the radiator on.
2. Press standby and DOWN simultaneously. A ‘d’ will appear on screen. Wait as the screen cycles through the time settings for the day, the hour (‘h’) and the minutes (‘n’), until PE or PC is flashing on the screen.
3. Use UP and DOWN to adjust between the two profiles. Then wait for the menu to time out.
During the first week of motion sensor heating, the self-learning program remembers the patterns of presence and no presence and will categorise sections of the day into different modes: Economy, Comfort and Anti-frost. This makes a program that the SmartWave will follow. Additionally, if left in self-learning mode, the radiator will continue to watch your routine/patterns and will change the program to match.
Alternatively, you can set a “forced” program via the app. When the radiator is heating to the app’s schedule, the lower top red LED will be on to signify the radiator is following the app.
