The thermostat clicks and the heater beeps when power is switched on and when the standby/on button is toggled on the keypad. All buttons beep when pressed.
The Onyx receives commands from the app silently, except standby/on and light on/off (on app) which beep.
Clicks or bangs may be heard during warm up and cool down, as the metal expands and contracts, but if this is particularly noisy it can usually be fixed by adjusting the bracket tightness.
There may also be a faint high-pitched buzzing when heating or when the display is on its full brightness, which usually goes away when dimmed.
