There’s a sun icon for comfort mode, a moon icon for eco mode and a snowflake icon for anti-frost.
In eco and comfort mode the current room temperature will be displayed. The Onyx’s set temperature is the flashing number that appears when the arrow buttons are used to adjust the temperature. In anti-frost mode 5 °C is shown – this is the non-adjustable set temperature. If you attempt to change the temperature in anti-frost, 5 °C will flash, but it won’t change.
The screen will timeout after 20 seconds of no activity – if the screen is at full brightness, it will dim to half brightness. The screen can be manually dimmed to no lights showing (except the on/off button and WiFi icon) through the dim screen button.
Screen brightness can be controlled through the app – toggle between full brightness and no light. If you toggle the heater to full light using the app when the display has already timed out and dimmed, full brightness will flash then immediately reduce back to half-dimmed.
